Beginners Yoga

An introduction to yoga for Beginners Workshop


This 4 hour yoga workshop will introduce you to yoga meditation as well as yoga philosophy.  We will break down the basics and get you familiar with basic asanas and Sun and Moon salutations 

This class is perfect if you are completely new to yoga or yoga have some experience but are feeling that you want to go back to basics.

You will also enjoy a introduction to mediation, Yoga philosophy talk, two different styles of  yoga  during this workshop one Hatha vinyasa and one restorative Yin class with a deep relaxation to end.

Mats and all props are provided but you can bring your own if you wish.

 At L2Y we believe your journey starts when you need it to, therefore we offer beginner courses throughout the year, classes which you can attend for as long as you need. Our knowledgeable instructors will help you build the foundation to your practice.   Have you been thinking about trying yoga or want come back to yoga after a long break? If so our  6 week introductory course is perfect for you. This beginners yoga class will take you through some key poses and breathing techniques to help you relax the mind and body.

Mondays 7.30-8.30PM  (Starts in feb)

Tuesday evening 18.00-1900  (18th January)

Tuesday evening YOGA4BLOKES (11th January)

18.00-19.15

Wednesday afternoon 13.30 - 14.30 (12th January)

Sunday morning 10-11.00 am ( 13th February)

Not ready to join a group class?

Try out our one-to-one packages. 

Work with an instructor to learn some basic skills and gain a better understanding of yoga before starting a class.Our instructors will personalise the content of your practice and work closely with you to help you achieve your goals.

We have a small studio space dedicated to one-to-one sessions and with packages ranging from individual sessions to discounted packages we have something to suite everyone. Private 121 £45 - This can be a small group of 4 people

  • You do not need to be flexible or strong to do yoga - regular practice can give you that.
  • You do not need any prior knowledge or fancy yoga equipment - just bring yourself.
  • Yoga is designed to connect the mind and body... and spirit - if that's your thing.
  • Yoga is suitable for all ages, genders, shapes and sizes - you are pefect just as you are.
  • We have no expectations whatsoever - we just hope you have some fun along the way!
